Symmetrical animals face one another across a deep navy ground densely patterned with flowering vines, geometric medallions, and ornamental scrollwork in gold, rust, and cream. The composition radiates outward from a central cypress tree, echoing the classical Persian rug tradition with its jewel-toned palette and intricate layering of botanical and zoological motifs. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist’s work, not a plain composition cover.
