A soft checkerboard pattern warps and undulates across the composition, creating the optical illusion of a curved or bulging surface despite remaining flat. Muted tones of cream, taupe, blush, rose, lavender, and pale blue alternate in a grid that shifts subtly in hue from cool left edges to warm center tones and cooler right edges. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist’s work, not a plain composition cover.
