A golden mustard flower with a single eye anchors the top of this composition, joined by cream daisies and a cluster of hot pink blooms with contrasting centers, all arranged against a warm tan ground with organic black foliage shapes. The bold outlines and flattened forms channel vintage botanical illustration with a playful modernist sensibility, evoking the optimistic color palette and decorative spirit of 1970s artwork. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist’s work, not a plain composition cover.
