A girl with gray hair and rosy cheeks sits centered against a pale sage ground, her body filled with intricate floral patterns in rust, orange, teal, and black. Ornamental botanical forms and decorative flourishes radiate outward from her figure in a symmetrical, folk-art inspired composition that merges figure and nature into a unified, joyful whole. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist’s work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
