The word “ART” appears in large, bold white capitals centered against a solid black rectangle, creating a stark, high-contrast composition that is both direct and ironic. The work’s minimalist approach and quotation marks around the word suggest a conceptual inquiry into what constitutes art itself, using typography as the primary medium. Woven soft and absorbent, your artwork on the front with a crisp white back, made to order. Everyday art for the bathroom, a step past the plain store-shelf towel.
