A lean, long-bodied dog stands in profile with its tail raised and fanned out like a peacock’s plumage, rendered in warm brown line work against a pale cream ground. The illustration captures a moment of pure joy through the exaggerated, almost impossible arc of that tail, while the dog’s simple facial features and stick-like legs convey whimsical contentment. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist’s work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
