Black and white birds transition seamlessly into fish in this optical illusion composition, with the creatures arranged in interlocking rows that flow from sky above into water below. Created through precise linear hatching and geometric tessellation, the work demonstrates how opposing forms can occupy the same space, challenging the viewer’s perception of figure and ground. Printed on smooth white card stock and made to order, artwork on the front, blank inside, envelopes included in every set. A handwritten note that arrives as an independent artist’s work.
